Wine Advocate | Erin Larkin

Erin Larkin of Robert Parker Wine Advocate recently tasted through some of our upcoming releases, awarding an outstanding collection of scores across our Flagship and Single Vineyard wines. Leading the way was the 2023 Yacca Block Shiraz, earning an exceptional 97 points. Alongside a host of wines including Ares, Aphrodite, Aerope, Spirit of Place, Coach House Block and Secret Block. We are always thrilled to see our wines recognised by one of the world's most respected wine publications.

June News 2026

In the June edition of our monthly newsletter, we settle into winter in the Barossa with fireside tastings at Cellar Door and quiet but important work happening across the vineyards and winery. We share a special customer story, feature Charlie’s Garden our Eden Valley Shiraz as Wine of the Month, and highlight the chance to win an unforgettable Barossa experience with the Two Hands team, valued at $6,000.

We’re proud to share outstanding new scores from Wine Companion, with our Flagship, Single Vineyard and Garden Series wines reviewed by acclaimed wine journalist Dave Brookes. Season of Shiraz | A Winter Walk & Wine Experience

Slow down this winter and experience a different side of Two Hands. Beginning at our Cellar Door, the Kraehe Nature Trail winds through newly planted natives, views of our vineyard and the sweeping Barossa landscape before leading guests to a viewing platform overlooking our resident Scottish Highland cows, Cleo and Clementine.

May News 2026

May is a busy and reflective month at Two Hands. With the final fruit arriving on 6 May, the winery has moved into malolactic fermentation, while the vineyard enters autumn senescence and prepares for winter dormancy. This months newsletter also includes Cellar Door updates, upcoming interstate events, Coach House Block as Wine of the Month, and a Meet the Team Q&A with Richard.

The Real Review Top 100 Wineries for 2026

We were pretty happy to see Two Hands recognised in the latest Real Review Top Wineries list, coming in at #51 out of more than 400 wineries across Australia. To be included amongst such strong companies is something we are incredibly proud of, especially as one of only seven Barossa wineries to feature around the Top 50.  The Real Review reviews around 10,000 wines each year. The Top Wineries Certificate is awarded to a select group of wineries that consistently produce excellent wine.

April News 2026

April at Two Hands is all about vintage, where the 2026 wines begin their journey. Unlike last year’s early finish, we’re past the halfway mark, a reminder that no two seasons are ever the same. In the winery, long days are filled with fruit intake, fermentation and careful extraction. In the vineyard, our staff picking day at Holy Grail brought the whole team together. Cellar Door was lively through Easter and Gather Round, while the Nature Trail is now open for self guided walks. Events continue to build, with Good Food & Wine Show just around the corner.

Invenienda 2026 Begins - The Clos Block Harvest

On Thursday 9 April, The Clos at our Holy Grail Vineyard was handpicked, marking the beginning of the 2026 Invenienda Shiraz. This small, meticulous block of Shiraz represents years of precision viticulture and thoughtful site selection. Each vintage starts here, with fruit carefully harvested and guided through a slow, deliberate winemaking journey. What follows is a process of refinement, patience and uncompromising selection, where only the finest parcels remain. With release anticipated in five years’ time. A quiet beginning for what will become something truly exceptional.

New Releases: The 2024 Picture Series

Fresh from the cellar and ready to take their place on dinner tables, we’re excited to release the latest vintages of three Two Hands favourites. Gnarly Dudes Shiraz, Angels' Share Shiraz and Sexy Beast Cabernet Sauvignon. All part of our Picture Series, each label tells its own story, with Don Brice’s artwork as recognisable as the wines themselves, and each name reflecting a piece of the character, humour and philosophy that underpins what we do. They are approachable, expressive and full of personality. Often the first introduction to Two Hands, but just as often the wines people return to year after year.

March News 2026

Vintage 2026 is underway, arriving late but full of promise, with the first Shiraz now safely in the winery. As the pace builds, attention turns to a busy run of events, from Sydney and Canberra dinners & Melbourne in May, alongside AFL Gather Round and Easter in the Barossa. It’s shaping up to be a vibrant few months both in the vineyard and beyond. March also brings the important annual calendar date 'Day of the Dude', giving us the perfect excuse to raise a glass of Gnarly Dudes Shiraz.
