New Release: 2019 My Hands

There are some wines we make every vintage. My Hands isn't one of them.

Reserved only for those years when a handful of barrels prove truly exceptional, My Hands represents one of the most exacting selections we make at Two Hands.

Six months after vintage, our finest parcels are assessed barrel by barrel. Only those showing extraordinary depth, balance and character are considered worthy of carrying the My Hands name.

In 2019, just a handful made the cut. The fruit came from our estate Holy Grail Vineyard in Seppeltsfield and was hand-picked on 4 March 2019, before spending 20 months maturing in 300-litre French oak hogsheads.

It was a significant year for Two Hands, marking our 20th vintage, and a demanding season across the Barossa. Low yields and smaller berries ultimately delivered fruit of remarkable concentration and intensity. From that vintage, only 768 bottles of My Hands were produced. There was no target quantity. That is simply how much wine proved worthy of the final selection. Seven years later, we are ready to release it.
