At Two Hands Wines we mainly focus on red wines made from Shiraz, Grenache and Mourvèdre. We love those wines but it’s also fun to test our skills with other varietals made under different practices and methods in our winery. Our showroom wines, exclusively available in our cellar door and webstore, highlights this approach.
“When at home I drink lots of different styles of wines, my personal cellar consists of bottles from pretty much every corner of the globe. Naturally, I love to see and taste what other places and people can produce too. My fear has always been having a winery cellar palate, as I like to recalibrate my palate, on a daily basis against many different wines. This had made me very curious over time about trying to make a few wines that are not naturally in our wheelhouse. Hence our Showroom Series was created, it is a look in and through another window.” – Michael Twelftree

Fait Acompli
Our Fait Accompli is the big brother to A Day Late A Buck Short, as it is only made in very small volumes. Like a traditional Australian Muscat, it has been aged for at least 20 years before bottling. From its extended time in oak, you will find more concentration and depth of flavour.

Wanderlust
A high end, McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot that will leave you in a dreamy state of Wanderlust.
Our special McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon/Petit Verdot Wanderlust, is a chance for us to Find the best barrels of McLaren Vale Cabernet Sauvignon & Petit Verdot and to blend them With smaller portions of Cabernet Franc, Malbec. I loved Blending this wine, as it takes a huge amount of skill to get it perfect. This wine sits in a very feminine and elegant framework. With an incredible tannin profile that is supple but also very long and caressing.”
