Two Hands 2020 Lucky Duck Sparkling is a refined traditional method sparkling wine from the cool-climate Adelaide Hills. Sourced from the Quigley vineyard in Piccadilly Valley and made from 100% Pinot Noir, this elegant sparkling wine captures the freshness, precision and fine detail that make the region so well suited to premium sparkling production.

Crafted with patience and care, Lucky Duck balances bright fruit, fine bubbles and savoury complexity with a generous, polished palate. Time on lees brings added texture and depth, while the cool Piccadilly Valley fruit keeps the wine vibrant, lifted and beautifully refreshing.

In the glass, 2020 Lucky Duck Sparkling offers delicate red fruits, citrus, brioche, subtle spice and a clean, persistent finish. Sophisticated yet highly drinkable, it is equally suited to celebration, quiet contemplation or simply elevating a beautiful meal. Enjoy well chilled alongside oysters, sushi, smoked salmon, fried chicken, soft cheeses or triple-cream cheese.

Tasting Notes

COLOUR | A beautifully extremely pale salmon hue, delicate and understated, catching the light with the faintest copper flicker, classic Pinot Noir restraint in sparkling form.

AROMA | The nose opens with fresh baked sourdough crust, biscuity crumb, and a soft, creamy Biscoff warmth. As it stretches out, the fruit steps forward: nectarine flesh, mandarin blossom, a hint of candy apple, and a gentle floral note reminiscent of frangipani drifting in warm coastal air. There’s an underlying savoury thread umami and light sea spray that pulls everything into harmony.

PALATE | The bead is exceptionally fine, dancing across the palate with precision and control. Pinot Noir’s voice is subtle but assured, clean stone fruit, a faint red-berry curl, and a saline tug that gives tension and refreshment. The extended lees ageing provides backbone and architecture, building a creamy mid-palate before tightening into a salty, ultra-dry finish. The biscuity notes return late, joined by a whisper of mandarin zest and a teasing sweetness of candy apple, all kept firmly in line by the wine’s mineral drive.
