2024 Vintage Report
Vintage 2024 was cool, dry, and slow-ripening with only a few hot days. Harvest began early March and finished by April. Barossa Shiraz showed rich, spicy notes; Eden Valley wines were fresh with supple tannins. McLaren Vale had a later start but larger crops and cool ripening, producing flavorful Cabernet and Shiraz. Clare Valley faced frost damage but yielded intense Shiraz.

2023 Vintage Report
The 2023 vintage was challenging due to a wet, humid winter and a cool, delayed growing season caused by La Niña. Rapid growth resumed in early summer, requiring intensive canopy management. Yields were reduced to suit the cooler ripening conditions. Despite the challenges, careful vineyard and winemaking decisions led to wines of excellent quality and consistency.

2022 Vintage Report
The 2022 South Australian vintage faced challenges from La Niña-driven wet weather and severe hail. Frost and spring rains further reduced yields, but mild summer conditions allowed steady ripening. McLaren Vale avoided hail damage, and Clare Valley’s slow ripening enhanced its wine quality. The season produced a smaller, intense crop with balanced acidity and vibrant flavors, with Shiraz standing out.

2021 Vintage Report
The 2021 vintage was exceptional, with perfect weather and well-timed rains supporting slow, even ripening across all regions. Moderate temperatures and average crops produced high-quality, balanced grapes. Estate vineyards performed brilliantly, especially a special Shiraz block, resulting in the ‘Cleo’s Block’ wine. Overall, 2021 is a standout year known for its harmony and lasting quality.

2020 Vintage Report
The 2020 Barossa Valley vintage faced extreme drought, driven by the Indian Ocean Dipole, with record-low rainfall. Two Hands Wines responded by installing Australia's first Sap Flow monitoring system, reducing water use by 28%. Despite early heat, ideal ripening conditions followed, yielding high-quality but low-quantity fruit. The Holy Grail vineyard hit full production, and under new Chief Winemaker Richard Langford, winemaking saw improved efficiency.
