Tasting Notes

COLOUR | Deep, bright red.

AROMA | The bouquet grabs your attention straight from the first whiff, with notes of roasted meats, cherry, rhubarb, fresh cut flowers, potpourri, lavender and menthol.

PALATE | This wine caresses the palate with a wave of gentle and ripe fruits. The tannins are total class
with a lovely brightness that hold a lovely sap and clean mouth feel. This wine will be best drunk after decanting and will reward 10 to 15 years in the
cellar.

WINEMAKING | Hand picked fruit, de-stemmed, not crushed, 15% whole bunch, cold soaked, natural fermentation, punched down, 10 days on skins, light pressings.

MATURATION | 500 litre French oak and stainless steel puncheons for 9 months.
