Two Hands Trusty Rusty Rosé is a pale, dry Australian rosé with a bright, energetic personality and a distinctly Two Hands point of view. Extremely pale in colour but full of flavour, this is the wine to reach for when the sun comes out, the food hits the table and the lid is ready to be ripped.

Born from a simple love of really good rosé, Trusty Rusty was created for those who prefer freshness, texture and savoury detail over sweeter, bubblegum-pink commercial styles. Its pretty orange-toned rust hue gives the wine its name, while the dry palate delivers lift, balance and pure refreshment.

In the glass, Trusty Rusty Rosé offers red berries, citrus, spice and a crisp, mouth-watering finish. Delicious served chilled, it is perfect with seafood, salads, antipasto, summer lunches, beach picnics or relaxed afternoons with friends. A confident dry rosé with colour, charm, character and serious drinkability.

Tasting Notes

COLOUR | Light blush

AROMA | Lifted aromas of bright wild raspberry and pomegranate, layered with a swirl of cranberry compote and cherry. A subtle hint of blood orange rind. There’s a florality too, a dried rose petal and a very light violet perfume that gives freshness and lift.

PALATE | On the palate, the wine is soft, round, and fruity, generously revealing the same aromatic qualities. The flavour profile is rich and smooth, with the delightful aromatics carrying through to enhance the experience.

The Growing Season

Barossa Valley’s 2025 Grenache delivered fruit of exceptional quality, shaped by a very dry and warm season. Low rainfall meant yields were down, but the berries that remained showed incredible concentration with excellent juice-to-skin balance. Disease pressure was minimal, ripening was even, and the early February harvest gave us Grenache brimming with bright, pure fruit. This combination of power and elegance makes it the perfect backbone for our rosé. Vibrant, fresh, and full of character from a standout Barossa vintage.

Vinification

WINEMAKING | The fruit was picked in the first week of March, crushed and pressed lightly. We cold settled the juice for 24hrs before beginning to rack off lees and then inoculation. A Cool and slow fermentation period followed where the wine was closely monitored to ensure just the right level of dryness resulted. It was then fined and filtered before bottling.

MATURATION | 3 months in stainless steel, retaining its fresh and bright fruit characteristics. The wine was bottled in August 2025.
