Two Hands Brave Faces is a bold and expressive Barossa Valley red blend, crafted from Grenache, Mourvèdre and Shiraz. This wine pays tribute to the generations of growers who stood by South Australia’s old vines during a time when demand for these varieties had faded. In the mid-1980s, many historic Grenache, Mourvèdre and Shiraz vineyards were being removed, but thanks to the brave faces who continued to tend their land, these treasured old vines remain part of Australia’s wine story today.
The name Brave Faces is inspired by the 1981 Midnight Oil song, reflecting resilience, loyalty and determination in the face of difficult times. In the glass, Brave Faces delivers generous red and dark fruits, savoury spice and a smooth, medium-bodied palate. It is a vibrant and approachable Barossa red wine that celebrates heritage, character and the enduring value of old vines, perfect for sharing around the table with great food.
