The Western Rangers is a collaboration of four of the Barossa’s leading wineries. Become a Western Ranger and uncover the rewards from our beautiful part of the world.

Visit the four participating wineries’ tasting rooms, each offering a unique premium wine experience, and unlock the treasures of the Western Ranges.

Complete the trail in a day or a year; simply spend at least $200 at each winery to collect your unique stamp. Once all four are collected, you will be rewarded with a rare and exceptional bottle of wine, an exclusive blend made from premium parcels supplied by each of the four wineries.

Located in the North-Western Barossa Valley, with easy access off the Sturt Highway, the Western Ranges is a spectacular region with rolling hills, gentle gullies, greater elevation, and unique microclimates matched with remarkable red-brown earth. This exclusive combination of topography, altitude, and soil mesh together to create an environment that makes the Western Ranges a rich tapestry of viticultural history producing exceptional wines.

KALLESKE

Handcrafted organic Wines
The Kalleske family have been farming and growing grapes in Moppa near the village of Greenock since 1853. They are one of the region’s leading grape-growing families consistently growing some of the Barossa’s best quality grapes. After six generations of growing grapes, winemaker and seventh generation family member, Troy Kalleske, together with his brother Tony, established the Kalleske winery and made the first ‘Kalleske’ wine. Wines from Kalleske have been seven generations in the making, but they are certainly worth the wait!

Hentley Farm is a single-estate boutique winery nestled amongst rolling hills in the west of the Barossa Valley
Open 7 days a week (10am – 4pm) the Hentley Farm Cellar Door Tasting Room offers a wine focused experience, showcasing the unique diversity of our single estate wines. Enjoy selecting from an array of wine tasting flights, or wine by the glass or bottle. This experience is ideal for guests looking to immerse themselves in Hentley Farm’s award-winning portfolio. To promote an intimate and relaxed atmosphere, we maintain limited seating capacity, therefore bookings are essential.
