We’re delighted to share with you our newest addition to our home in Marananga – a vibrant and colourful mural, beautifully designed and painted by a young and talented Adelaide-based artist & long-time friend of Michael Twelftree, Lucinda Penn.
Lucinda’s vibrant, thoughtful and fun creation is her take on the Two Hands journey, the story of the Holy Grail, and a nod to our home in Marananga with native flowers, birds, and local indigenous Peppermint Gums featuring alongside the iconic Seppeltsfield Road Palms and Mausoleum.
There are so many delightful elements depicted in the work that there’s something new to discover each time you see it.
Lucinda welcomed help from the team, and ‘Big Boss’ MT definitely gets the award for the most dedicated Two Hands staff member, channelling his inner Picasso to help the story come together!
Like the silo art trail, mural art is fast becoming a tourist attraction in its own right so the creation of Lucinda’s work will help enhance our offering and create a backdrop to the Cellar Door and Brutus that will evolve and change as the seasons change.
We can’t wait to welcome you on your next visit when you’re able.
