WHO IS BRUTUS?

Brutus, who has inspired the name of our outdoor space is the patriarch of our family of Scottish Highland cattle, who guard our magical Holy Grail Vineyard on Seppeltsfield Road.

Our fearless leader Michael Twelftree has always loved cows and when the opportunity came to have his own, he jumped at the chance. Brutus was a character in MT’s favourite childhood comic Asterix and so, it was a fitting name to call our gruff ‘hairy coo’.
